Our websites are online shops for the sale of children's play furniture and accessories, operated via an electronic shopping cart system. You can browse products, filter by categories, view individual product detail pages, and add items to your shopping cart. From the cart, you can start the checkout process and complete your order.

The websites include a header and footer menu with a consistent navigation structure. The header menu contains all product categories, while the footer menu provides important service links such as contact information, shipping and payment details, legal notices, and the imprint.

2. Use and operability

Our websites are designed to be usable with both a mouse and exclusively via keyboard. Navigation, search, product listings, the shopping cart, and checkout steps can generally be operated without a mouse.

The pages are responsive, adapt to different screen sizes, and can be used with assistive technologies such as screen readers.

3. Accessibility – level of compliance

The Funzy websites are largely compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA). Some content and functions already meet these requirements, while others still present barriers that we are continuously working to remove.

4. Non-accessible content in detail

Below, we describe in user-friendly language which barriers currently exist, why they are problematic, and—where possible—how they can be worked around:

1. Product images and graphics:
   Some product images or decorative icons on various pages do not yet have meaningful alternative text. For users of screen readers, this means that these visual elements cannot be interpreted, and product details may not be fully accessible. As a temporary workaround, you can use the contact form or our email address to request additional product information. We plan to gradually add alt texts so that all images become accessible.
2. Checkout forms:
   During checkout, the required format for postal codes is not always clearly described. This can be a barrier for users with cognitive or reading difficulties, as it may not be obvious which format is expected. Currently, no simple workaround is available. We are continuously working to improve these instructions and make them clearer.
3. Additional barriers:
   No further significant barriers have been clearly identified at this time. However, we regularly review our websites and will address any issues as they are discovered.

5. Measures to support accessibility

We have already implemented several measures to make our websites accessible:

• Content can be operated using a keyboard and screen reader
• The pages adapt to different screen sizes (responsive design)
• Form fields include labels and error messages are displayed directly
• Videos include subtitles or transcripts where relevant
• Our pages include skip links that allow users to jump directly to the main content

At the same time, we continuously review technical improvements and work on gradually removing the identified barriers.
